Junaid Khan, the elder son of Aamir Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of Boney Kapoor, are set to star alongside each other in the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil blockbuster 'Love Today'. This highly anticipated remake is being produced by Phantom Studios. Yes, it's true!
Yesterday, we reported the exclusive news that Junaid had been approached for the role, and now we can confirm that he has officially signed on for the project. Similarly, Khushi Kapoor has also been confirmed to be joining the cast.
'Love Today' remake is Khushi Kapoor's second film appearance
According to a source close to Khushi, both Junaid and Khushi were impressed with their respective roles and quickly decided to accept the offer. The source stated, "They didn't take long to say 'yes'."
The 'Love Today' remake was already a major project, but with the addition of Junaid and Khushi, it has become even bigger. Production is scheduled to begin later this year.
For those who may have missed it, Junaid has previously acted in a Yash Raj film titled 'Maharaja', which is currently awaiting release and stars Sharvari Wagh and Jaideep Ahlawat. Meanwhile, the 'Love Today' remake will mark Khushi's second film appearance, following her debut in Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies', in which she stars alongside Agastya Nanda and Suhana Khan.
